It depicts a fallen rider attempting to wrestle his horse to the ground in a valiant attempt to regain control. The rider's body is vulnerable as the horse retaliates by kicking the rider with his hind legs. This amazing piece memorializes the harsh reality and untamed forces that haunted the Old West.
